Arrow 2493M Machining & Grinding Coolant Semi-Synthetic

Arrow 2493M Machining & Grinding Coolant is a dark green, pleasant smelling fluid in its concentrated state. When diluted with water, Arrow 2493M Coolant forms a stable, translucent blue solution suitable for use as a general purpose machining and grinding coolant. This balanced semi-synthetic coolant includes special additives that assure protection against corrosion, rancidity and fungal attack. Arrow 2493M also displays excellent tramp oil rejecting characteristics.

Uses

Arrow 2493M Machining & Grinding Coolant has been developed for use as a general purpose, medium/heavy duty machining and grinding coolant. Arrow 2493M Machine Coolant can be used on a broad range of metalworking operations at very low use concentrations. It is safe to use on most ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Arrow 2493M is sulfur, chlorine and halogen free. Being semi-synthetic in nature, Arrow 2493M Coolant contains a light percentage of mineral oil for added lubricity.

Application

Dilute Arrow 2493M Machining & Grinding Coolant with water according to difficulty of operation and type of metal being machined. Typical concentrations would be 50% or 20:1 for general machining and as low as 2½% or 40:1 for grinding. To assure product stability, always add Arrow 2493M Coolant to the water while mixing in a stainless steel tank. Use of a refractometer is also recommended to check and maintain correct coolant concentration.
