DARACOAT® 615 Waterbased Short-Term Indoor Rust Inhibitor
DARACOAT 615 is a water based in-process rust inhibitor designed for short to medium term indoor storage of ferrous, copper and aluminum alloys. Typical storage periods range from one to three months depending on the concentration used and the storage conditions involved. DARACOAT 615 leaves a monomolecular film which typically does not interfere with subsequent metal finishing operations.

DARACOAT 615 Waterbased Short-Term Indoor Rust Inhibitor can be pretreated via skimming and/or filtering. Final sewerability is determined by the municipal sewer district covering the plant location.
Availability, Storage, and Handling
DARACOAT 615 Waterbased Short-Term Indoor Rust Inhibitor is available in 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums. It is recommended that D ARACOAT 615 Water based Short-Term Indoor Rust Inhibitor be stored in well-ventilated areas at temperatures between 4 and 38°C (40°F and 100°F). The recommended shelf life of this product is one year.
